Welcome to a new School year!
I am looking forward to working with you children. If you have any question through out the year please do not hesitate to call and set up a time to meet.

In reading this year we will cover 5 readers. The first few weeks we will review the consonant sounds, the short vowel sounds, and the first 40 words. Homework in reading will be flashcards, workbook pages, and stories. It is important to ask your child questions about every selection sent home.

In math we will cover the facts to 20. Using fingers when they can't remember is fine, but they need to memorize. We will also cover place value (numbers to 100), fractions, shapes, and probability.

In religion our service project is call T.O.Y. (Together young and old). The children will color cards, make gifts, and do a play for the older members of our parish.
